Homebrewing requires yeast for its transformation of water and sugar into alcohol and other beverages, and dry yeast is available in different forms to make this possible. Certain varieties are active when mixed with water while others don’t activate properly when combined; using the wrong kind can result in stuck fermentation; to ensure fast, pure fermentation we suggest Prestige Turbo Yeast which has an impressive fermentation rate of 17 percent within five days – much higher than average fast-acting alcohol yeast!
This Black Label Turbo yeast can ferment both sucrose (common white household or castor sugar) and monosugars such as fructose, glucose and dextrose. Furthermore, its temperature tolerance makes it ideal for almost any environment.
Turbo yeast should be mixed directly into sugar solutions without pre-soaking, unlike other varieties. Soaking could cause significant fluctuations in osmotic pressure between its interior and exterior surfaces of cells that cause them to burst and die prematurely.
Turbo yeast typically yields 6-8 kg of alcohol in a 25 liter wash, which can be used to produce beer, wine and fruit schnapps of exceptional quality.
